About Us

Our History

Liverpool Olympic was first formed in 1982, with a vision to bring the local community together through soccer. In 1983 the first U12’s team was playing in the Southern Districts Association.

The first playing fields were at Liverpool Boys High School, before moving to Phillips Park, Lurnea and then finally moving to Hoxton Park Reserve in 1990, where we have been ever since.

In 1997 the club raised a deposit for the purchase of property at 635 Fifteenth Ave West Hoxton Park. Over the next 20 years the passionate team raised money to pay off the property via raffles and donations, which ultimately saw the this dream come true.In 2002, the soccer club facilities underwent a major renovation, upgrading our old facilities to include a newer canteen and clubhouse.

As a club, Liverpool Olympic believes in providing a safe haven for children of all ages, encouraging team sports, making friends, bringing all the community together through the common love of football and supporting the local community special needs entities.

Liverpool Olympic has an intense pride for the local area and is constantly engaging in multiple charities and alternate sports programs. The Liverpool Olympic passionate volunteers are continuously encouraging all residents to participate in health and exercise programs and all in the one venue. The current directors are extremely focused to investigate and facilitate what is needed to return and generate higher cash returns and to redistributed funds towards the improvement of facilities, teams and social groups in the area. The goal is to create a multisport facility with caters for all the area. Liverpool Olympic directors a focused on creating a place and purpose for future generations in the improving health awareness in the wider community of South Western Sydney.
